Please note that mineral trespassers will not be tolerated. The mine is under 24/7 camera surveillance.

Self Guided Tours to the Lone Star Mine
- Enjoy a rockhounding trip to the Lone Star Mine at your pace
- Mine is open sunrise to sunset daily from Sept - May
- 2.5 mile round-trip moderately easy hike to the mine
- You will be provided a walkthrough video on directions to the mine
- You will be provided with rockhounding tips for collecting at the mine
- Collect up to 25 lbs of gems and minerals from the tailings of the mine
- Payment is fully refundable same day of booking
- All participants must sign a liability waiver
- All parents must sign a liability waiver for minors
- All participants must read and agree to the rules
